Ebenezer Gujjarlapudi

Ebenezer Gujjarlapudi, P.E. is an experienced environmental and engineering professional currently serving as the Director of the Land Use and Environmental Services Agency (LUESA) for Mecklenburg County since January 2013, where oversight includes sustainability initiatives and regulatory functions. Prior to this role, Gujjarlapudi was a Project Delivery Manager at the St. Johns River Water Management District, managing water quality and resource protection projects. Earlier positions include Program Manager and Director within the City of Jacksonville, where responsibilities encompassed a wide range of environmental regulatory functions and major cleanup projects. Gujjarlapudi began the career at Black & Veatch Corporation as an Environmental Engineer focusing on air quality and permitting for power plants. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Osmania University.
