Märtha-Luise Wendland is an experienced engineer in the maritime industry, currently serving as an Entwicklungsingenieur at MMG - Mecklenburger Metallguss GmbH since June 2021. Previously, Märtha-Luise worked as a Schiffbauingenieur at Pella Sietas GmbH from May 2020 to June 2021, and as a Wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft in the Arbeitsgruppe Schiffsmaschinenbau at TU Hamburg, where research focused on liquefied natural gas as an energy source for ships and trucks. Early career experiences included a role as a Bachelor-Student at DNV GL - Maritime, where structural design for LNG-fueled container ships was undertaken, and a tutoring position at the Institut für Flugzeug-Produktionstechnik at TU Hamburg. Märtha-Luise holds a Master of Science in Shipbuilding and Marine Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Shipbuilding from Hamburg University of Technology.
