Pat Eliason

Pat Eliason is the VP of Military & Federal at Miller Electric Company, Inc. Pat has over 20 years of experience in the Navy, including positions such as Surface Nuclear Assignments/Detailer and Commanding Officer.

Pat Eliason began their career in the Navy in March 2012 as the Surface Nuclear Assignments/Detailer. In this role, Pat was responsible for the career management of 1200 Naval Officers and the placement of each into available jobs. During their time as Surface Nuclear Assignments/Detailer, Pat developed a progressive program which established a proficiency sustainment requirement for mid-grade officers.

In June 2017, Pat became the Commanding Officer of USS The Sullivans (DDG 68). As Commanding Officer, Pat led 300+ personnel aboard a multi-billion dollar warship in all aspects including operations, engineering, maintenance, and training. During their time as Commanding Officer, Pat led the ship through a successful 7 month deployment to the Middle East which included cutting edge ballistic missile defense tracking and leading a major exercise uniting Iraqi and Kuwaiti Navies together for the first time. Additionally, Pat led the ship and contracting team through a $25M seven month maintenance period - the only such period in the Navy to finish on time and on budget in last 5 years. For their accomplishments as Commanding Officer, Pat received accolaides from Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Acquisition and Development and Commander, Surface Forces Atlantic.

After their time as Commanding Officer, Pat became the VP of Military & Federal at Miller Electric Company, Inc. In this role, Pat is responsible for managing the company's military and federal contracts.

Throughout their career, Pat has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and has been recognized for their accomplishments by their peers. Pat is a highly skilled individual with a proven track record of success in the Navy.

After completing a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, Pat Eliason pursued a Masters in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.

They are on a team with Susan Walden - EVP & Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, Mike Oliver - VP, Human Resources & Risk Management, and Donnie Smith - Chief Commercial Officer. Pat Eliason reports to Henry Brown, CEO.
