Leah Amante

Leah Amante has a wide range of work experience in revenue cycle management, financial services and claims management. Leah holds the role of Vice President of Revenue Cycle Services at Med-Metrix and has previously held leadership positions at HFMA Metro NY Chapter, Long Island Community Hospital, and Stony Brook Medicine. Leah had also worked as an Assistant Director of Patient Financial Service at Winthrop-University Hospital, and as a Manager overseeing the Customer Service and Financial Assistance Department for the North Shore LIJ Health System. Before that, Leah has worked for MagnaCare as a Claims Supervisor and for Vytra Health Plans as a Claims Examiner. Leah began their career as an intern at Normandy Sound Recording Studio.

Leah Amante has pursued their education in different fields of study. Leah obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from St. Joseph's University New York in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from 2021 to 2024. Leah completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Farmingdale State College from 2011 to 2016. Before that, Leah did their Associate's degree in Recording Engineering and Music Business from Full Sail University, and they graduated from Osceola High School with a diploma. Additionally, in February 2021, Leah obtained certification as a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
