Ed Davies Emt-Paramedic

Ed Davies, EMT-Paramedic, has extensive experience in emergency medical services and technical rescue training, serving as Rescue Services Training Manager at Med-Tex Services, Inc. since August 2020. With a long-standing role as an instructor at Pennsylvania State Fire Academy since 1994, Ed has also contributed as a Technical Rescue Instructor at ResQ Concepts until February 2021, specializing in NFPA and OSHA compliant training. Previous positions include District Chief of Training and Professional Development at North West EMS and Operations Chief with North Hills Technical Rescue Team. Ed managed technical rescue operations for SHACOG Technical Rescue Team over a decade and held the position of Lieutenant in the Special Operations Platoon of Mt. Lebanon Fire Department. Ed's career began as Rescue & Training Coordinator at Ross/West View EMS-Rescue, where ongoing part-time work as a rescue paramedic still occurs. Ed holds degrees from PennWest Clarion and the U.S. Fire Academy at the National Fire Academy.
