Kumiko Endo, Ph.D.

Kumiko Endo, Ph.D. has a wealth of work experience. Starting in 2019, they have been a Co-Founder & COO, Co-Founder, R&D Lead, and Research Specialist at Med2Lab, Inc. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Senior Manager, Community Operations and Growth at The Mom Project. In 2016, they were a Senior Event Coordinator at YHouse, Inc. From 2014 to 2016, they were a Researcher at New York University, managing coordination and conducting of focus groups in Japan for Dr. Eric Klinenberg. From 2008 to 2014, they were an Adjunct Professor at Hofstra University, teaching in-person and distance-learning courses to over 1000 students. From 2008 to 2009, they were an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at State University of New York College at Old Westbury, developing and deploying online and in-person courses and being a pioneer member of distance-learning initiatives. Finally, in 2009, they were an Instructor at Leadership Enterprise for a Diverse America.

Kumiko Endo, Ph.D. began their educational journey in 2000 at Columbia University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree. Kumiko then moved to Soka University of America, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social & Behavioral Sciences in 2005. In 2011, they began their Doctor of Philosophy degree in Sociology at The New School, which they completed in 2018. Additionally, they obtained a 2022 GSV Cup Elite 200 certification from the ASU GSV Summit in January 2022.
