Frank Generotzky

Frank Generotzky has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Frank is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer / Managing Director at medac GmbH since October 2020. Prior to this role, they held various positions at Baxter International Inc., including Multi-Site Head / Sr. Dir. Global Pharma Operations, Managing Director of Baxter Oncology Gmbh, and Plant Director Halle / Bielefeld. During their time at Baxter International Inc., they were responsible for managing and leading manufacturing organizations, overseeing production, engineering, supply chain, and utilities. Frank also had experience in identifying and implementing suitable manufacturing technology, building effective team structures, and leading investment projects. Before joining Baxter International Inc., Frank worked at ASTA Medica AG, where they held roles such as Project Manager, Head of Qualification and Environmental Monitoring, and Process Engineer Aseptic Manufacturing. In these roles, they were responsible for designing manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance in FDA regulated environments, and optimizing processes and equipment.

Frank Generotzky completed their education at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts from 1992 to 1996, earning a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Life Science Technologies. Frank then pursued further education at the University of Louisville from 2010 to 2011 and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Business. In addition to their formal education, Frank also obtained certifications in various fields. In 2006, they achieved a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the Baxter Lean Six Sigma Group, Europe (Vienna). Later in 2016, they obtained the FOYA 2016 certification from ISPE (International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering).
