Reiner Ahrendt

Reiner Ahrendt has extensive work experience in the field of product management, sales, and research. Reiner started their career in 2002 as a student assistant at MPI-CBG, where they were involved in breeding and maintaining fish stocks and routine lab work. In 2003, they interned at Mote Marine Laboratory. Reiner then worked as a research assistant at BIOTEC, TU-Dresden from 2006 to 2011. Reiner gained further research experience as a postdoc at CRTD from 2011 to 2012. In 2013, they joined Biotype Diagnostic GmbH, initially as a scientist and later as a sales and product manager. Reiner continued their product management career at medac GmbH, starting in 2017 as a product manager and currently holding the position of Head of Product Management Diagnostics.

Reiner Ahrendt pursued their education in the field of biology. From the year 2000 to 2005, they attended TU-Dresden where they obtained a degree in Molecular Biology, specifically a Diplom Biologe (Dipl. Biol.). Following this, Reiner Ahrendt continued their studies at TU-Dresden from 2006 to 2011, earning a Dr. rer. nat degree in Biology.
