Giulia Gandini is an experienced R&D Project Manager in the MySolution division at Medacta International, where Giulia specializes in designing patient-specific medical devices for orthopedic surgeries, including total hip and shoulder arthroplasties. Prior to this role, Giulia served as a Master Thesis Intern at Erasmus MC, focusing on material characterization of atherosclerotic coronary arteries, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, conducting research on the acoustic properties of lung tissues. Giulia holds a Laurea Magistrale in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago.
