Lara Buchanan

Lara Buchanan has extensive work experience in various roles related to human resources and office management. Lara currently works at MedAdvisor as the People & Culture Team Lead, having joined in December 2021. Prior to that, they had a role as a People & Culture Generalist at the same company from July to November 2021.

Before joining MedAdvisor, Lara worked at Eastern Melbourne PHN as a Human Resources Officer from October 2018 to July 2021. Lara also held the position of Office Manager & Executive Assistant at Christian Schools Australia from July 2017 to October 2018. Additionally, they worked at World Vision as an Executive Assistant from April 2014 to December 2017.

Lara's earlier experiences include working at World Vision Australia. Lara was involved in HR projects and People & Culture roles from May 2006 to April 2012. Prior to that, they served as an International Recruitment Specialist in the People & Culture department from January 2003 to May 2005.

Lara Buchanan obtained a Certificate of Counselling from The Cairnmillar Institute in 2004. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor of Business in Administration and Human Resources at Deakin University from 1991 to 1994. For their secondary education, they attended Strathcona Baptist Girls' Grammar from 1985 to 1990. Additionally, Lara acquired a Certificate in Essentials of HR from the Australian HR Institute in 2003, specializing in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration.
