Ken Colton has been working in the software engineering field since 2006. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Developer at 360 Hubs, Inc., where they spearheaded the development of several large custom social network solutions. In 2010, they became a Software Engineer at Logos Management Software Inc., where they designed, developed, and deployed Site Builder, a drag and drop application builder and content management system. That same year, they also became the Director of Web Technology at the Undergraduate Student Government at Stony Brook, where they designed, developed, managed and deployed Allocate, a web application written using Ruby on Rails. In 2011, they joined iHeartRadio as a Senior Web Developer, where they led the development of the iHeartRadio TV optimized HTML5 / CSS3 application. From 2013 to 2018, they worked at Material World Co. as an Advisor and Chief Technology Officer, where they developed technology to support all aspects of the business. In 2018, they became a Technical Lead at Grubhub, where they were responsible for frameworks used by 500+ engineers to build and deploy microservices into a multi-region AWS infrastructure. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Gif Your Game. Ken is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Medal.tv.

Ken Colton attended Stony Brook University from 2007 to 2010, earning a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2007, studying Computer Science. In addition, they obtained a CCNA certification from Cisco in August 2006.
