Martin Panchula has extensive work experience in the materials and technology industries. Martin currently holds the position of Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Momentive Technologies, which they started in 2023. Prior to this, Martin worked at BASF, where they held various roles including Research Manager - Solids Processing and Sr. Teamleader, Calcination and High Temperature Engineering, from 2015 to 2023. Before joining BASF, they worked at Momentive Performance Materials as a Materials Group Manager, Technology and Sand Technology Leader from 2004 to 2015. Martin also has experience at GE Quartz, where they worked as an Innovation DFSS Black Belt and Materials Scientist.
Martin Panchula holds a PhD in Materials Science - Ceramics, which they obtained from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1994 and 1999. Prior to this, they completed a BS/MS degree in the same field at Iowa State University, graduating between 1989 and 1994.
