Nik Ammerlaan

Nik Ammerlaan has had a varied career in the tech industry. In 2013, they founded MonsterLyrics, which they transformed from a hobby into a business and received a Silver Creator Award. In 2016, they founded Groovy Bot, the second largest chat bot for Discord, which was used by over 50 million people each month. In 2018, they worked as a Community Manager at Top.gg, moderating and managing a diverse and multi-lingual community, as well as developing tools to detect chat bots at risk of being compromised. Finally, in 2019, they worked as a Software Engineer at Medal.tv, modernizing the codebase and rebuilding the social login system, improving latency by 75%.

Nik Ammerlaan attended Raritan Valley Community College from 2017 to 2019, studying Computer Science.
