Victoria McCann has a diverse work experience. Victoria began their career in 2014 as a Medical Receptionist at Kerrsland Surgery. In 2016, they were appointed as the Captain of the Queen's University Belfast Ladies Boat Club. In 2017, they held an Editing Intern role at the China-Britain Business Council and a Campus Tour Guide role at Queen's University Belfast. In 2018, they were an Enterprise Development Officer, Enterprise Support Officer and Graduate Careers, Employability and Skills Intern at Queen's University Belfast. In 2020, they were an Operations Manager at Ignite Accelerator and is currently a Community Lead at MedAll since 2022.

Victoria McCann attended Sullivan Upper School from 2007 to 2013. Victoria then went on to Queen's University Belfast, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General in 2016. Afterward, they completed a Master of Science degree in Marketing at Queen's University Belfast in 2017. In May 2022, they obtained an Introduction to Rowing Coaching Course certification from Rowing Ireland.
