Pratik Datta

Pratik Datta is an accomplished architect with extensive experience spanning over two decades in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as an Architect at Medallia since August 2016, Pratik specializes in backend architecture, performance, security, and troubleshooting complex customer issues. Previously, as a Software Architect at Simply Hired, responsibilities included leading a 45-person development team and migrating to a Docker-based microservices architecture. During a 12-year tenure at Oracle, Pratik held roles such as Consulting Member of Technical Staff and Principal Member of Technical Staff, focusing on identity management and security architecture for web services. Early career experience includes software engineering positions at Remedy, Pretzel Logic, and Tata IBM. Pratik holds a BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
