Jerome Engel

Jerome Engel is a distinguished academic and venture capital expert with extensive experience in executive education and entrepreneurship. As Faculty Director of the Executive Program in Innovation and the UC Berkeley Venture Capital Executive Program at the UC Berkeley Center for Executive Education since January 2001, Jerome has developed programs for senior executives and leaders in the venture capital ecosystem. As a General Partner at Monitor Venture Partners, engagement in early-stage high tech investments is highlighted. Jerome serves on the Board of Directors for MedAmerica and has significant advisory roles, including Senior Adviser to the CEO at Niantic, Inc. Other notable positions include National Faculty Director for the NSF I-Corps program and founding executive director of the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley. With a master's degree from The Wharton School and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Penn State University, Jerome Engel’s expertise spans over several decades in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
