Tasha Mears

Tasha Mears has a rich work experience in the healthcare industry. Tasha started their career at Amedisys in 2002, where they served as the Director of Episode Management. In this role, they were responsible for managing and improving clinical and fiscal outcomes across multiple offices. Tasha also played a key role in developing and implementing various initiatives, such as telehealth deployment and Point-of-Care development.

Later, Tasha joined LHC Group in 2006 as the Director of Quality and Clinical Technology. Here, they focused on centralizing analysis, management, intervention, and education for clinical outcomes. Tasha also pioneered the Care Management department and expanded their responsibilities to include performance improvement.

In 2007, Tasha returned to Amedisys as the Vice President of Quality Management and Analytics. In 2011, Tasha transitioned to the role of SVP Clinical Informatics at Amedisys. Here, they utilized informatics and information technology to enhance healthcare services to homecare and hospice patients. Tasha led multiple teams, managed software and operational initiatives, and implemented technology changes to improve operational efficiency.

Tasha's most recent position was at MedCentris, where they served as the Chief Administrative Officer and later as the Chief Operating Officer. In these roles, they contributed to the overall administrative and operational success of the organization.

Tasha Mears obtained their Associate of Arts degree in General Studies from Florida State College at Jacksonville in the years 1992 to 1994. Following this, they completed their Associate of Science in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the same institution in the years 1993 to 1994. In 2000 to 2002, Tasha pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from the University of Phoenix. Lastly, in the years 2015 to 2017, they attended Louisiana Tech University where they earned a Master's degree in Health Informatics.
