Emily Dorothee Meyer

Emily Dorothee Meyer is an accomplished public health professional with extensive experience in epidemiology and health information systems. Currently serving as an eHealth Advisor for Medical Content at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Emily is responsible for overseeing the Health Information System (HIS) infrastructure and ensuring decision-makers have access to critical data. Previous roles include managing epidemiological activities at MSF, where Emily led national surveillance efforts, provided technical support for data analysis, and addressed public health emergencies including disease outbreaks. With a strong academic background that includes a Doctor of Medicine, and two Master's degrees in Public Health and Applied Epidemiology, Emily has contributed to numerous projects for organizations such as the World Health Organization and IOM - UN Migration, focusing on data generation and public health decision-making across various humanitarian contexts.
