Shereen Nanish is an experienced communications specialist currently serving as an Operational Communications Digital Strategist and Strategic Communications Advisor at Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) since April 2023. Nanish has also recently participated in the Shireen Abu Akleh Journalism Fellowship with the United Nations. With a solid background in media consultancy at the International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) from August 2020 to December 2023, Nanish played a key role in enhancing Arabic social media presence and communication strategies. Previous engagements include positions at BBC News, where contributions included digital journalism and broadcast production, and TRT World, recognized for producing one of the most viewed videos in 2022. Nanish's expertise extends to advisory roles in communications practices for women's land rights with Resource Equity, and coordination of UNESCO's Media and Information Literacy Program for Arab States. Nanish holds a Master's degree in Journalism and New Media from Jordan Media Institute and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Linguistics from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
