Nicole Schmidt has over 21 years of work experience in various roles within the technology and software industry. Nicole started their career at Users Incorporated in 1996, where they worked as an Applications Support Representative. In 1999, they transitioned to the role of Software Delivery Specialist.
In 2000, Nicole joined Medecision as a Sr. Technical Support Analyst and was later promoted to the role of ITIL Problem Manager. In 2017, they were tasked with launching and leading the rollout of a Problem Management capability within a new Service Management team. Nicole also took on additional responsibilities for Change Management during this time. Nicole earned a Medecision Partnership Award and was named to the Employee Ambassador Leadership Team during their tenure with the company.
In 2019, Nicole was promoted to Change and Problem Manager at Medecision, where they had oversight and governance of Change, Problem, and Deployment Management. Nicole was responsible for training staff on Change Management processes.
Most recently, Nicole has been working as the Product Reliability Operations Manager at Medecision since August 2022.
Nicole Schmidt holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. In addition, they have obtained two certifications - ITIL Practitioner and ITIL Foundation Level - from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Nicole earned the ITIL Foundation Level certification in August 2017 and the ITIL Practitioner certification in November 2019.
