Dr. Avi Nahar

Dr. Avi Nahar has a diverse background in the healthcare industry. Dr. Avi started their career as an Assistant Professor at R.D. Gardi Medical College in 2011. Dr. Avi then moved on to work at SRL Diagnostics, where they held various roles including Consultant Pathologist, Lab Head, Quality Manager, and Management Representative. Dr. Avi later became the Head of Regional Operations and Cluster Business Head for the West India region at SRL Diagnostics. In 2018, Dr. Nahar joined Transasia Bio-Medicals Ltd. as the Business Unit Head for Hematology in India. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Sales at MEDGENOME, a leading genetic diagnostics and drug discovery research company in India.

Dr. Avi Nahar pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore, which they completed from 2001 to 2007. Following this, they attended Pad.Dr.D.Y.Patil Medical College in Mumbai from 2008 to 2011, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Pathology.

In 2009 to 2011, Dr. Nahar pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Human Resources Management & Hospital Management from the Indian Institute of Commerce & Trade in Lucknow. Additionally, they received further education from 2012 to 2015 at the Texila American University Consortium, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science/Research and Allied Professions.

In terms of additional certifications, Dr. Avi Nahar became a Full-Time Member of the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) in November 2019, highlighting their commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date in their field.
