Gurunath Katagi is a Senior Bioinformatics Analyst at MEDGENOME, specializing in multiomics analysis that incorporates genomic, transcriptome, and methylation data. Since joining MEDGENOME in April 2017, Gurunath has focused on the analysis of bacterial and viral genome samples, including de novo assembly and genome annotation. Previously, as a Bioinformatics Analyst at MEDGENOME from April 2015 to 2017, responsibilities included bioinformatics analysis for clinical diagnostics, variant calling, and tumor microenvironment analysis.
