Mark Merlin is a highly experienced medical professional serving as Medical Director at MedHealth Partners since June 2012 and Chief Medical Officer at Pocket Naloxone Corp. since April 2024. Currently, Mark holds key leadership roles as CEO of MD1Program, which represents the largest Clinical Practice Group of Flight Physicians in the U.S., and as an adjunct professor at both Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. With a strong background in emergency medicine and air ambulance services, Mark also serves as Chief Medical Officer at ParaflightEMS and Senior Advisor at Cambridge Consulting Group. Previously, Mark held the position of Chair of the NJ EMS Council and was Medical Director for MONOC, managing one of the largest EMS systems in New Jersey. Mark's expertise extends to fellowship program direction in EMS/disaster medicine at Barnabas Health/Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, the largest EMS fellowship in the U.S.
