Michael Robertson is an experienced psychiatrist currently serving as Chief Psychiatrist at MedHealth, where responsibilities include professional development and quality improvement in mental health services. Since August 2015, Michael has been a Visiting Professorial Fellow at the Sydney Jewish Museum, focusing on community engagement and the ethical discourse surrounding the Holocaust. As a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, Michael leads educational efforts and coordinates courses. Michael's editorial roles include Associate Editor for the Journal of Bioethical Inquiry and Deputy Editor for Australasian Psychiatry. Previous leadership positions include Chief Medical Officer at Recovre and Medico Legal Opinions, and Director of Psychiatry at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Michael holds a PhD in psychiatric ethics/PTSD from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
