Julien Ponce has had extensive work experience in various industries. Julien currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for HALEO Clinic, a healthcare provider focused on improving sleep disorders through virtual specialty care. Julien is also the President of a3j Capital/Consulting, where they provide consulting and capital management services. Julien is a Member of the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee for Desjardins General Insurance Group.

In 1992, Julien obtained two professional certifications. Julien became a Fellow of the Institute of Canadian Actuaries (F.C.I.A) from the Canadian Institute of Actuaries, as well as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (F.S.A) from the Society of Actuaries.

In 2019, they attended the Rotman School of Management at McGill University where they completed the Institute of Corporate Directors - Director Education Program.
