Elena Vaetus

Elena Vaetus is a highly experienced Senior Scientist at Medherant Limited, where involvement in R&D workflow and CMC activities has led to the expansion of the company's portfolio of novel medical devices. Previously, Elena served as an Associate Scientist at GSK, delivering process engineering support for drug development and executing various chemical reactions. At ProMetic, Elena worked as a Chemistry Research Assistant, focusing on biopharmaceutical product development through accurate experimental techniques. Elena earned a Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham, researching cellulose nanoparticles, and holds advanced degrees in Materials Science and Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest. A strong background in scientific research is evidenced by roles at the National Institute for Nonferrous and Rare Metals, where Elena conducted experiments on gallium recovery.
