Rafael de Brito

Rafael de Brito has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Rafael is currently the Head of Corporate IT at MEDIA Central Gruppe since May 2022. Prior to this, they held various roles at MEDIA Central Gesellschaft für Handelskommunikation und Marketing mbH, including Head of IT and software development from January 2019 onwards and Teamleader IT from January 2017 to December 2018. Before that, they worked as an IT Consultant at confidelis GmbH & Co. KG from February 2011 to December 2016. Rafael also served as a Student Assistant for IT services at the Institut für Prozess- und Anwendungstechnik Keramik e. V. (IPAK), RWTH Aachen from September 2010 to March 2011. Rafael'searly career includes a role as a Software Developer at the Institut für Werkstoffanwendungen im Maschinenbau IWM der RWTH Aachen from September 2007 to August 2010, where they were responsible for various tasks such as software development, database management, server administration, and IT system assembly.

Rafael de Brito pursued their education in a chronological manner. Rafael first attended Aachen University of Applied Sciences - FH Aachen from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Scientific Programming. Rafael then went on to study IT-Management at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management from 2013 to 2016, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree. In addition to their formal education, Rafael received several certifications, including Veeam Sales Professional and Veeam Technical Sales Professional from Veeam Software in March 2014. Rafael also obtained a Trainer Certification (AEVO) from IHK Aachen in April 2012 and a Mathematical and Technical Software Developer certification from IHK Aachen in August 2010.
