Irene Florou

Irene Florou began their work experience in 2019 as a Private Tutor, teaching modern Greek, ancient Greek, and Latin to eight students. In 2020, they worked as a Psychology Trainee at RODI CARE, assisting in the mental rehabilitation of elderly patients with neurodegenerative diseases and conducting diagnostic evaluations. In 2021, they worked as a Law Secretary in a Law Office, gaining experience in administrative tasks and working in a high-pressure environment. Irene also worked at Theta - The Cycladic concept store as a Product Sales and Support Trainer, where they provided excellent customer service and support, managed HR functions, and coordinated with the back office team. Currently, they are working as a Product Support Engineer at Media Distillery.

Irene Florou completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens from 2015 to 2021. Irene then pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Developmental and Child Psychology at Maastricht University from 2022 to 2023.

Additionally, Irene obtained various certifications during their education. In February 2022, they obtained a certification titled "Psychopathology of the infant, the child and the adolescent" from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. In January 2022, they received a certification in "Special Education: interdisciplinary convergence practices" from the same institution. Furthermore, in February 2018, they obtained a certification on the "Diagnostical and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, DSM-V" from the Prevention and Counseling Center.
