Marcos Wendell Santos

Marcos Wendell Santos is a data engineer currently working at Media Hero since October 2023. Prior to this role, Marcos held various positions at Birdie from August 2020 to June 2023, including software engineer responsible for maintaining a backend application using FastAPI and PostgreSQL, as well as a web scraping developer focused on implementing and maintaining spiders for data collection from e-commerce sites and forums. Marcos also served as a data science intern at TokenLab in late 2019 and held the position of web developer intern at PET Computação from March 2016 to September 2018. Additionally, Marcos participated as a volunteer in the CodifiqueKids project, teaching coding to children from the public education system, and coordinated the “Informatics for the Elderly” project aimed at educating older adults on computer functionalities. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and an exchange program at Tilburg University in 2020.
