Ilana Berger

Ilana Berger is a Senior Researcher focused on Energy & Climate Disinformation at Media Matters for America since December 2021. Previously, Ilana served as the Social Media Community Manager for The YEARS Project from February 2019 to December 2021, where responsibilities included crafting a cohesive brand voice and mobilizing over 4 million followers in the climate movement. Ilana's experience also includes positions as a Fellow at Public Private Strategies, a Digital Marketing Intern at Urbanstrong, a Communications Intern at AARP New York, an Editorial Intern at Green America, a Social Media & Outreach Intern at Leave It Better, and a Center for Sustainable Communities Intern at the International City/County Management Association. Ilana holds a degree from New York University, completed between 2014 and 2018.
