Brian Vi

Brian Vi has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Brian is currently employed as a Senior Analytics Team Lead at Media Matters Worldwide, where they started in March 2021. Prior to this role, Brian worked at Just Global, Inc. for four years. Brian started as an Analyst in August 2017 and progressed to the position of Senior Analyst. Their responsibilities included building and trafficking digital ad campaigns, implementing tracking tags and pixels, and monitoring campaign delivery. In March 2020, Brian was promoted to Manager at Just Global, Inc., a role they held until their transition to Media Matters Worldwide. Before joining Just Global, Inc., Brian worked at myWebRoom as an Office Operations Manager and Creative Marketing/Data Analytics professional from October 2015 to March 2017. Their duties included budgeting company events, managing vendor relationships, compiling analytics, and preparing weekly analytic reports. Brian also gained experience as a Marketing Communications Intern at MathAction, where they managed social media channels, filmed and produced a micro-documentary, and created various projects. Additionally, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at The Tax Foundation from August 2007 to October 2015, performing general administrative duties and managing customer service. Brian had earlier internships at Brunofilms as a Marketing Intern and at Lifetouch Portrait Studios as a Photographer. Finally, they interned at Urban Releaf as an Environmental Science Academy Intern, where they conducted maintenance work, performed marketing outreach, and completed an environmentalism project. Brian Vi attended Oakland High School from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following that, they pursued their higher education at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor's degree of Arts in Film and Digital Media.
