Edoukou Assouan

Edoukou Assouan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. In 2017, they worked as a Resident Assistant at The Evergreen State College. From April 2018 to June 2018, they served as a Video Editing Intern at the Washington Hospitality Association, where they independently produced and edited multiple videos and documented association events. In 2018, they also worked as a Home Care Aide at the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. In September 2020, they joined Prison Education LLC as a Social Media Intern before being promoted to the role of Social Media Manager in November 2020. Starting in November 2020, they worked as a Social Media Specialist at GTMA until May 2022, where they then became a Senior Social Media Specialist until May 2022. From May 2022 to the present, Edoukou has been an Associate Media Planner at Merkle, and from May 2023 to the present, they hold the position of Communications & Marketing Manager at CHOOSE 180. Overall, their experience demonstrates a strong background in social media management, video editing, and marketing.

Edoukou Assouan completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media and Cultural Studies from The Evergreen State College from 2016 to 2020. In 2019, they participated in a study abroad program at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange in Paris, France, focusing on French Language and Literature. In addition to their formal education, Edoukou has obtained certifications such as the Cross Border Advertising Badge, Launch and Connect Badge, and Performance Fundamentals Badge from Twitter in June 2022.
