Jack L.

Jack L. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Jack started their career as a Staff Accountant at Buckley, Frame, Boudreau and Co., CPAs f/k/a Luppi, Mahon, Schulz and Co., CPAs, where they worked from July 1992 to November 1996. Jack then moved on to become an Accounting Manager at New Haven Coliseum from November 1996 to June 1999.

In 1999, Jack joined Time Inc. and held various positions within the company. Jack started as an Operations Assistant Financial Manager for Sports Illustrated from June 1999 to May 2000. Jack then became an Operations Financial Manager for Sports Illustrated, working from May 2000 to August 2002. Jack later transitioned to the role of Strategic Planning Finance Manager for Sports Illustrated, where they worked from August 2002 to December 2003.

After that, Jack took on the role of Senior Ad Pricing Manager for Sports Illustrated, from May 2003 to November 2004. Jack then worked as a Finance Manager for People en Espanol at Time Inc. from November 2004 to April 2006.

Jack's next job was at Wicks Business Information, where they served as Vice President of Finance from April 2006 to September 2007. Following that, they worked at NewBay Media as a Controller from October 2007 to July 2014.

Their most recent position was as a Controller at Media Storm, where they started in July 2014 and continues to work.

Jack L. attended the University of Connecticut from 1987 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. In August 1995, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy. In September 2020, they also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Advocating for Change in Your Organization," "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences," and "Difficult Conversations: Talking About Race at Work."
