Jim Blanche

Jim Blanche is an experienced professional in the field of sound recording and engineering, with a career spanning multiple decades. Since September 2012, Jim has been a Guest Lecturer at Signals Media Arts Centre, specializing in technical training for young filmmakers in Location Sound Recording. Jim's extensive freelance work as a Sound Recordist includes roles with major organizations such as BBC, Nickelodeon International, and ARD German TV. Additionally, Jim has contributed to media production as a Sound Engineer at Sit-up Channels and holds a position as a Camerabike Cameraman. The breadth of experience includes notable affiliations with 20:20 London, Media Zoo, and Decent Exposure. Jim's academic background includes education at Canon Palmer RC High School.
