Ian Scott

Ian Scott started their work experience in 1999 as an Accounting Tutor at the University of Cape Town. Ian then worked as an Audit Supervisor at Ernst & Young from 2002 to 2004. Ian later joined Ernst & Young Forensics as a Manager from 2005 to 2006. Ian then became a Financial Manager at NB Group from 2006 to 2010, and later a Group Financial Manager from 2010 to 2011. Currently, they are working as the CFO for Media24 Books since 2011, where they are responsible for developing and implementing business strategy, managing departments, and negotiating acquisitions and disposals.

Ian Scott attended Camps Bay High School from 1992 to 1996. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Science (BBusSci) degree in Finance and Accounting at the University of Cape Town from 1997 to 2000. Ian Scott also holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA), but the specific timeframe of when they obtained this certification is not provided.
