Lee Schmetzer has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Lee began their career as an Apprentice Plumber for Front Range Plumbing Company in 2000. That same year, they also worked as a Radio and Communications Security Repair for the US Army. In 2004, they became a Project Manager for Ford Audio-Video, where they led a cross-disciplinary team managing the design, implementation, testing, training, and delivery of custom solutions. In 2015, they joined AVI Systems as a Project Manager, where they managed and coordinated the integration of multiple concurrent projects ranging up to $3M. In 2017, they worked as a Project Manager for both Whitlock and Ford Audio-Video. Since 2018, they have been a Project Manager at MediaCentric Integration.

Lee Schmetzer obtained their Diploma from Green Mountain High School in 1999. In 2007, they obtained two Certified Technology Specialist certifications from InfoComm International. In 2014, they obtained an OSHA 30 certification from the U.S. Department of Labor.
