Christopher Welch has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, with their most recent role being the Senior Director of CLEC Operations at Mediacom Communications. In this position, they managed the CLEC Technical Engineering & Operations Organization, overseeing staffing, logistical planning, and support guidelines.

Christopher Welch has an extensive education history. Christopher began by earning an NY Regents Diploma in Art/Science from Warwick Valley High School in 1995. Christopher then pursued an AS degree in Visual Communications at SUNY Orange from 1996 to 2001. Christopher continued their education with various continuing education units, including business administration, management and operations at SUNY Orange Center for Business Solutions, business management at Universal Class, Inc., and computer science at edX, all completed between 2010 and 2012. In 2015, they obtained continuing education units in business administration and management from Udemy. Christopher also completed sales training at Sandler Training in 2011 and attended Fred Pryor Training Seminars at PARK University for business administration (management) from 2007 to 2009. Moving forward, they pursued adult continuing education at Fordham University in Theology/Theological Studies and at Marist College in Religion/Religious Studies from 2019 to 2020. Additionally, they are currently pursuing Advanced Bible Study at New York Catholic Bible School, which is expected to be completed between 2021 and 2025. In terms of certifications, Christopher obtained Heartsaver CPR & AED certification from the American Heart Association in 2023. Christopher also received certifications in Basic Bible Study, Catechist Formation Program (Level II and Level I), Ministry of Lector, and Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Communion from the Archdiocese of New York between 2019 and 2023.
