Karthik Palanisamy

Karthik Palanisamy has a strong background in video solutions engineering, with experience at Mediacorp Pte Ltd, Nokia, and Alcatel-Lucent. At Mediacorp, they held roles such as Senior Principal Engineer, focusing on improving latency delivery for FIFA World Cup 2022 and implementing SSAI on Linear delivery. Karthik'swork at Nokia as a Video Technical Support and Services Engineer involved pre-sales support and integration for RestartTV features. At Alcatel-Lucent, they worked on Cloud DVR Platform and 8950 MMIG for Mediaroom IPTV middleware, gaining experience in product development and maintenance.

Karthik Palanisamy completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University of Technology in 2011. Karthik then pursued a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Computer Software Technology from Vellore Institute of Technology, graduating in 2013. Prior to this, they completed their Grade 12 from Nirmala Hr.Sec.School in the Science stream in 2007, and their Grade 10 in High School/Secondary Certificate Programs from the same school in 2005. In addition, they acquired various certifications such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications, and other AWS-related certifications.
