Bart Vandesompele

Bart Vandesompele is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communication, public relations, and community involvement. Currently serving as a Gemeenteraadslid for Gemeente Sint-Martens-Latem and as an initiatiefnemer en organisator for De Wijste Gentenaar, Vandesompele also holds leadership roles as Founder & CEO of The Content Makers, Gedelegeerd Bestuurder at Community Gent, and Senior Public Relations Consultant at Mediafin. Additionally, Vandesompele contributes as a guest lecturer in Multilingual Business Communication at Ghent University and as a board member for several organizations promoting diversity, culture, and sports. Past roles include General Manager of Film Fest Gent and Head of Corporate Communications at BASE Company. Vandesompele holds a licentiaat degree in Germanic Philology and Business Communication from Ghent University.
