Piet Depuydt

Piet Depuydt is an experienced journalist with a diverse background in financial and general news reporting. Currently serving as a Journalist for De Tijd at Mediafin since November 2011, Piet focuses on in-depth interviews and investigative projects. Prior to this role, Piet worked as a Financial Journalist at NRC Handelsblad from April 2008 to October 2011, where coverage included the financial market and commodities. Piet's extensive career also features significant leadership roles at Roularta Media Group, including Editor-in-Chief for both Trends and Bizz, where Piet was responsible for team management, editorial content selection, and budget oversight. Piet holds a Licentiaat in Political Sciences from Ghent University and a Baccalaureaat in Business Economics from KU Leuven, complemented by educational experience at HUB-EHSAL.
