Simon S. has a diverse range of work experience spanning from 1995 to 2023. Simon began their career as a Sales Assistant at Currys plc in 1995. Simon then worked as a Technical Support representative at System Supplies before moving on to Telewest Communications as a PC Network Support Analyst. Simon joined PT IT Solutions as a Technical Support staff before transitioning to the University of the West of England as a Help Desk Assistant and later as a Systems Manager. Simon then took on the role of Project Engineer at Omnibus Systems, where they were responsible for the final design, installation, configuration, and commissioning of television automation systems. After freelancing as a Broadcast Engineer, they joined Snell Advanced Media as a Contracts Manager and eventually became a Project Manager. Simon's next career move was at MediaHub Australia, where they held various leadership positions, including Head of Technology, Executive Head of Technology, and most recently, Chief Digital & Information Officer.

Simon S. attended Filton College from 1995 to 1997, where they studied Computer Science at the A Level. Simon then went on to the University of the West of England, earning a BSc degree in Computer Science from 1997 to 2001.
