Charlotte van Coevorden has worked in various roles within the media industry. Charlotte began their career in 2000 as a Freelance Dance Instructor and Choreographer at Studio 52 Dance Academy. In 2007, they worked at Metro as a Sales Assistant and later as an Account Executive. Charlotte then moved to Metro International where they worked in Sales for Classified Ads. In 2010, they joined De Persgroep as an Account Manager Digital. From 2011 to 2013, they served as a Senior Account Manager Interactive Advertising at leading news sites such as Standaard.be and Nieuwsblad. Charlotte then worked at Mediahuis nv as the Head of Digital & Trading from 2013 to 2018, where they were responsible for keeping the organization up to date on digital advertising trends and leading national advertising sales teams. From 2018 to 2021, they held the position of Digital Transformation Manager, leading transformation projects for the advertising department at Mediahuis. In 2021, they became the Digital Lead Gazet van Antwerpen, responsible for developing the digital strategy of Gazet Van Antwerpen. Charlotte is currently the Head of Media Partnerships at Mediahuis nv. Charlotte also held board positions at IAB Belgium and BAM - Belgian Association of Marketing, where they helped regulate and train marketers in the digital advertising industry.
Charlotte van Coevorden completed their education in a chronological order. Charlotte first obtained a Master's degree in Film Studies from Université libre de Bruxelles from 2003 to 2006. Prior to that, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Dance: performance and choreography at Hope College from 1998 to 2002. Before their undergraduate studies, they received their Secondary education with a focus on Performing Arts: music and dance from Kunsthumaniora van het Vlaams gemeenschapsonderwijs te Gent from 1996 to 1998.
