Paul O'Donovan has a diverse work experience in the media and technology industry. Paul started their career in 2001 as a System Proving Intern at Marconi. Paul then worked at Amino Communications as a Customer Support Engineer and later took on the role of Software Test where they designed and ran software test packs and managed the Test Team.

In 2006, Paul joined Scientific Atlanta, a Cisco Company, as a Product Support Engineer for IP STB. Paul then moved on to Cisco Systems as a Systems Engineer, where they provided pre-sales support, analyzed customer requirements, and designed and implemented demonstrations at trade shows.

Paul joined AlertMe.com in 2009 as a Technical Sales Manager, where they worked with the Head of Sales to develop and win new European business for the company. In 2012, they joined Microsoft as a Technical Solution Professional.

Paul's career at Ericsson started in 2013, where they held various roles including Director Technical Sales EMEA, Director Business Development - TV & Media - EMEA North, and Director Business Development - TV Platforms. In these roles, they focused on business development in the TV and media industry, specifically on TV platforms.

Currently, Paul works at MediaKind as the Director of Market Development. Paul has held roles in Direct to Consumer and Advertising, helping content owners reach new audiences and preserve revenue from licensing rights.

Throughout their career, Paul has gained experience in market development, business development, technical sales, and pre-sales support. Their expertise lies in TV platforms, media, and technology solutions.

Paul O'Donovan completed their BEng degree in Electronics & Computer Systems Engineering at Loughborough University, from 1999 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications in 2023, including "Coaching and Developing Employees," "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging," "Fighting Gender Bias at Work," and "Unconscious Bias," all from LinkedIn.
