Julia Clendenin has held various roles in their career. Julia began their career in 2013 as an Infectious Diseases Institute Intern at Emory University. In 2018, they took on the role of DNA2 Research Intern in Dr. Judith Campbell Lab at Caltech. In 2019, they became a Lung Biotechnology R&D Intern at United Therapeutics Corporation. Most recently, in 2020, Julia Clendenin became a Marketing Director and Continuing Education Content Writer at MediaLab. As part of the Content Team, they developed continuing education courses for medical laboratory professionals and managers and wrote a three-part course that outlines the major clinical laboratory departments, certification and accreditation organizations, and federal laws and regulations to non-clinical individuals.

Julia Clendenin obtained their IB Diploma from Riverwood International Charter School in 2015. Julia then attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2020, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry (BS) and Literature, Media, and Communication (BS). In 2019, they were a part of the Stamps President's Scholarship Program as a Stamps Scholar Class of 2015. In 2022, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business. In November 2022, Julia also obtained a Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google Digital Garage.
