Sebastiaan Stipdonk

Sebastiaan Stipdonk has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Sebastiaan most recently worked as the Managing Director of Finance at MediaMarkt Nederland since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Co-CFO of MediaMarkt Saturn Deutschland from August 2020 to October 2022. Sebastiaan also held multiple positions at MediaMarkt Nederland, including Co-CFO, CFO ad interim, and Head of Controlling between 2017 and 2020.

Additionally, they worked as the CFO of ZES Goes B.V. from February 2018 to December 2019. Before that, Sebastiaan held the positions of Head of Controlling and Project Controller at Makro Cash and Carry NL from 2015 to 2017. Sebastiaan also gained experience at METRO AG, where they served as Director Store Sales, Delivery & Technical Operations Controlling, Head of Operations & SCM performance management, and Head of Shape Controlling between 2011 and 2015.

Earlier in their career, Sebastiaan worked in various roles at Metro Cash and Carry and Metro Pensioenfonds. Sebastiaan started as a Controller at Metro Cash & Carry Nederland BV in 2004, then moved on to roles such as Corporate Planning & Controlling and CPO. Lastly, they served as a member of the Verantwoordingsorgaan at Metro Pensioenfonds from 2008 to 2011.

Sebastiaan Stipdonk completed their Master's degree in Financial Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1999 to 2005. In 2017, they also pursued a Post HBO degree in Geschiktheidsniveau A pensioenfondsen from Swalef.
