Timo Weese

Timo Weese is a Cyber Security Student at MediaMarktSaturn since September 2019, with extensive experience in cyber defense. As a project lead, Timo has spearheaded infrastructure security projects, implemented tagging concepts for MDE assets, and managed incidents related to Microsoft Defender. Previously, Timo served as a SOAR Engineer and Incident Responder, leading responses to multiple cyber incidents and evaluating SOAR products. Timo also has a strong background in incident response and SIEM infrastructure development gained during an IT apprenticeship. In addition to the current role, Timo represents the Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt's cyber security bachelor program as a study ambassador and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity, expected to graduate in July 2025.
