Matthew Schuchhardt has a strong background in software engineering, starting as a Unix Intern at CME Group in 2007 and again in 2009, where they were involved in upgrading, auditing, and maintaining Unix QA and Dev systems. Matthew also migrated servers from Solaris to Linux and virtual machines, reducing maintenance overhead and consolidating data centers. At Caterpillar Inc. in 2008, Matthew created a VPN-based remote access system and automated the GPS firmware upgrade system, reducing time and potential errors. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Research Intern at Intel Corporation, conducting research on user experience and system-level optimizations on mobile devices. Matthew joined 4C Insights in 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Director of Software Engineering in 2019. Their responsibilities included managing software development and overseeing projects. In 2020, they joined Mediaocean as the Vice President of Software Engineering.

Matthew Schuchhardt completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering at Valparaiso University, from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued a PhD in Computer Engineering at Northwestern University, from 2009 to 2015.
