David Sobel

David Sobel is an experienced IT professional and educator with a comprehensive background in higher education and mediation. Since 2000, David has served as the Associate Director of IT Planning and Outreach at Harvard University, acting as the principal business relationship manager for multiple faculties and overseeing significant governance processes. Previous roles included Senior Manager positions in project planning, communications, and client services, where David developed strategic initiatives and built client support frameworks. Additionally, David volunteers as a mediator in the MWI Court Mediation Program and has instructed graduate-level courses on negotiation at Northeastern University College of Professional Studies. David holds a Mid-Career Master in Public Administration with a focus on negotiation from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Psycholinguistics from Swarthmore College, where David graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
