Jonny Pears has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Jonny started their career as a Junior Graphic Designer at The Point Design in 2011, where they handled branding and print design projects. Jonny then joined Offstone Publishing in 2012 as a Graphic Designer, working on various in-house and client publications. In 2014, they moved to Unwritten Creative as a Graphic Designer, focusing on creating brand identities, marketing literature, and responsive websites. In 2017, they joined Mediaworks as a Graphic Designer, eventually moving up to roles such as Senior Designer, Head of Conversion Rate Optimization, Design Team Lead, Head of UX & UI Design, and currently as the User Experience Director. In their current role, they lead a team of UX & UI designers, ensuring seamless and user-centric experiences across digital platforms or products. Throughout their career, they have worked with diverse clients and sectors, delivering transformational solutions and driving business success through their expertise in UI and UX design.

Jonny Pears has a Diploma in Art & Design from Newcastle College, which they obtained from 2008 to 2009. Jonny then pursued a FD Graphic Design degree at the same school from 2009 to 2011. In addition to their formal education, Jonny has obtained several certifications including the Impellus Level 3 Certificate of Learning in Leadership and Management from Impellus in 2021, the Convert Certified Expert certification from Convert.com in 2020, and the Understanding the General Data Protection Regulation certification from the University of Groningen.
