Jim Bostick has over 30 years of experience in user experience design and research. Jim has held various leadership roles and has worked with several prominent companies. Currently, they are the Director of User Experience at Sensitech, where they are responsible for creating a user-centric plan and approach for product development. Prior to that, they worked as a Principal User Experience Designer at OpenText and DELL EMC. Jim also has experience as a consultant, providing user experience design and consulting services through their own company, JBostick.com. Earlier in their career, they held positions as the Director of User Experience Design at Smart Destinations and Gather Inc., and as the Director of Creative Services at World Travel Holdings. Jim also served as the Web Design Manager at Gateway.com and Art Director at GPU Nuclear. Throughout their career, Jim Bostick has focused on developing user-centered design strategies, conducting user research, and overseeing visual design and product definition based on industry research and user behavior analysis.
Jim Bostick earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design from Temple University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Communications, specializing in the university, from Penn State University, attending from 1992 to 1995.
